I recently discovered a bold new author, an Amarillo resident, who
just published her first book. Not your typical novel mind you, but a
very brave little red book about a forbidden subject. A subject that most
accept as a "fact of life," and (that is most men) choose to ignore.

This little red book rates right up there with
Bill Cosby's Fatherhood, Lee Iacocca's Iacocca, Rush
Limbaugh's The Way Things Ought To Be, and Norman Rockwell's unique view
of life in America.

Danna J. Krause's The Period is must reading for every
woman... and men should read it for sure. Warning: Mrs. Krause deals
with the subject in a "very matter of fact" method that is blunt but
comical, factual but humorous, historical but satirical. You will find it
entertaining... but one might be a little offended until you
stop and realize that everything she says is the
truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth... and most
assuredly, a fact of life.
